Since “Dune”: Since the release of the movie “Dune: Part 2,” the fashion world has been hungry for Florence Pugh's fashion. The actor has a way of making even the most girly color palette (baby pink) or feminine silhouette (puff-sleeved dresses) look edgy and cool.

Thankfully, however, Pugh has another project in the works and is back on the red carpet again: on Monday, September 9, she attended a screening of her new film, “We Live in Time,” in New York City. This public appearance revealed that her signature glam rock style is still alive and well.

Pugh was dressed in a floor-length black gown with playful ruffle trim. The see-through Dior dress was intricately textured and had a low plunge neckline that reached just above the navel. Styled by Rebecca Corbin-Murray, the look was accented with a leather belt with hardware, platform pumps, and sparkling gold jewelry.

As with the runway styling, Pugh's dress was unlined, revealing a matching black bralette and high-waisted undergarments to the masses. A favorite styling trick of Pugh's, this lends a bold vibe to each look and effectively elongates her 5'7” frame.

This underwear-forward ensemble might be considered daring, but for Pugh it is just routine and fairly subdued. Usually, Pugh is completely naked beneath such dresses, unashamedly exposing her breasts. This is a style choice she has made time and time again, and for good reason.

“In this industry, anytime I was expected to morph into an opinion that my body was sexy or sexually attractive, I made it my mission to say, ‘Fuck that, fuck that,’” Pugh wrote on Instagram. 'I wore that dress because I know.'"
