Margot Robbie makes her red carpet debut in a maternity mini dress.

Margot Robbie is trying a maternity style look that shows off her baby bump rather than hiding it. Many celebrity moms are beginning to embrace this trend, including Haley Bieber, Rihanna, Sofia Richie Grainge, and Suki Waterhouse. One example: the gray off-the-shoulder jersey dress Robbie wore to a screening of “My Old Ass” in Los Angeles on September 9. The “Freaky Friday”-style drama-comedy is the latest project from producer husband Tom Ackerley.

Robbie's baby bump definitely enhanced the skin-tight design styled by Andrew Mukamal, which featured a floor-length skirt and knot detailing at the shoulders. It's not unlike the knotted jersey dress Kylie Jenner presented last year in the first drop of her ready-to-wear label.

Robbie completed the look with strappy sandals and a chunky gold bracelet. The Barbie star's hair was styled into her signature sleek middle part, and her makeup highlighted her natural tan from a recent vacation on the Mediterranean island of Sardinia.

Robbie kicked off the maternity style era at Wimbledon in July in Alaia's black and white polka-dot dress with matching cape and knee-length asymmetrical skirt. Alaia sunglasses and an East-West bag completed the winning look.

A month later, in August, Robbie showed off her growing bump in black plants and a white button-up that remained slightly open while vacationing with Ackerley in Italy. She accessorized her laid-back, travel-friendly ensemble with a black bucket hat, sunglasses, sandals, and a slanted bag.
