Beyoncé says she has done her “utmost” to ensure her children “the most normal life and privacy possible.

Beyonce seems to do most of what she does effortlessly, but she admitted that there is one thing that requires intense effort every day.

For any celebrity child, achieving anything close to “normal” is a challenge. Especially for a child born into the fame that comes automatically with having Beyoncé and Jay-Z as parents. But in a new interview with GQ, Beyoncé explained that for her children (12-year-old Blue Ivy and 6-year-old twins Rumi and Sir), keeping things as normal (and private) as possible is a top priority.

“One of the things I've worked very hard on is making sure that my kids have as much normalcy and privacy as possible and that my personal life is not branded,” the “Texas Hold 'Em” singer said. 'It's easy for celebrities to turn our lives into performance art. I have remained true to my boundaries and have worked extremely hard to protect myself and my family. No amount of money can protect my peace."

When it comes to how she balances protecting her children's privacy and normalcy with being Beyoncé, the answer is that she multitasks to be a constant and present mother, even when she is working She seems to be doing just that. Beyoncé says that she schedules her work schedule to accommodate her family; for example, she only goes on tour when her children are out of school and can travel with her.

“My kids come with me wherever I go,” she says. 'They come to my office after school, they're in the studio with me. They come to dance rehearsals with me. It's natural for them to learn my choreography.”

Like many working mothers, Beyonce admits that balancing parenting and professional life is a challenge, but worth it in the end.

“It's not easy raising three kids,” she admitted in an interview. 'The older they get, the more they become individuals with their own unique needs, hobbies, and social lives. My twins are God's messengers. Parenting teaches us about ourselves constantly. It takes a lot of prayer and patience. I love it. It keeps me grounded and fulfilled.”
