Jennifer Lopez may be trying to “refresh her image” after her divorce, but there's still room for her beloved Birkin bag in her new aesthetic.

On Monday, September 9, Jennifer Lopez revived J.Lo's typical uniform at the gym, which included her all-time favorite (and rare) Hermes silhouette.

Lopez was photographed after the gym in Los Angeles wearing a heather gray athleisure set. The three-piece set consisted of a small bralette with extra-fine straps, low-rise loose-fitting sweatpants, and an oversized sweatshirt. She casually draped the sweatshirt over her shoulders to cool off after her workout.

The “On The Floor” singer completed her look with chunky white sneakers and accessorized further with black James Oro sunglasses. Just when it seemed that Lopez was done with her signature flashy and luxurious workout cue - at least in the style of her recent sightings over the past few weeks - she reintroduced her favorite handbag. A similar style is listed for $29,000 on resale platforms.

In case you missed it: the Lopez is embarking on a new sartorial era, with ribbon-embellished revenge gowns, “suburban mom” boho chic styles, and business casual blazers. Sources reported last week that the star is looking to “refresh her image” after her divorce from Ben Affleck.

The closet revamp will involve drastic changes. In the handbag department, her beloved Hermes Birkin bag has been missing from her usual street style since returning to New York from a month-long vacation in the Hamptons; aside from a couple of business meetings, Lopez made a public appearance to try out a new purse style Lopez showed up in public to try out new purse styles - a raffia basket tote, a vintage Dior saddle bag, and a custom “JLO” mini bag.

Lopez's latest appearance marks the first time in months that she has stepped out to the gym with a Birkin in hand, the formula for a sure and very J.LO-like outfit that she has been nailing for years.

Lopez's fashion earlier this year was also colored by this unconventional combination of athleisure. For example, while preparing for her now-canceled “This Is Me: Now” tour, she often paired neutral, abdomen-baring sets from brands such as Joie Brown with one of the many fun styles from her Birkin collection.

New era or not, she is still J.Lor- and her affinity for the classic Hermès silhouette will remain.
