Meghan Markle's all-white outfit reminds the world why she is the queen of minimalism

Meghan Markle is a bookworm period, and she knows how to dress like a chic, well-read woman. Remember the sleeveless jumpsuit she wore to Club Monaco to speak alongside Oprah Winfrey and others at the just-opened Godmothers bookstore?” apparently that event was at Price Harry's literary agent It was apparently just the beginning of a three-day grand opening weekend for the bookstore, co-founded by Jennifer Rudolph Walsh and makeup mogul Victoria Jackson. (Rudolph is also the former head of WME's Literature, Lectures, and Conferences department and was involved in Winfrey's “The Life You Want” tour.)

For her second appearance at Godmothers, Markle was again dressed in a monotone look: a creamy off-white tank top and wide ivory pants, both by Ralph Lauren. Her styling would be by Jamie Mizrahi, who has worked with her since early 2024.

In case you forgot, Markle is not just the Duchess of Sussex. She is also the patron saint of cozy colors and friendly minimalism, which means that arbitrary style rules like avoiding white after Labor Day don't apply to her.

Apparently, they don't apply to royalty. Prince Harry also attended the event wearing a white button-up.

I have always questioned the capsule wardrobe concept, and I know Nikki Ogunnaike of Marie Claire feels the same way. That said, Meghan Markle has always bothered me that it's time to make the switch. Her penchant for creamy, neutral hues, appreciation for quality basics, and loyalty to classic silhouettes make her literally always look great, whether she's sightseeing in Colombia or visiting a restaurant in Los Angeles. And I mean always. Congratulations, Miss Markle: you have made a believer out of me.
