Megan Seastallion in a see-through bustier dress at the 2024 VMAs
This year's “Hot Girl Host,” Megan Seastallion, is contractually obligated to provide fans with a continuous slay for all three hours of the 2024 Video Music Awards. Her first look of the night was a strong start to what will undoubtedly be a long night of great fashion moments.
Rapper “Mamushi” arrived fashionably late to MTV's annual red carpet in an architectural gown with a shaped mermaid skirt. The bustier-style bodysuit was covered in skin-tight black mesh and connected to a dramatic skirt. The satin skirt bloomed from the fitted silhouette, making Megan look like a living flower.
She styled the Nicole + Felicia piece with only a jumbo cocktail ring and diamond bracelet. Most notable was her new bob hairstyle. The blunt crop mimicked the angular look of the gown and was utterly striking.
The rapper told reporters: “I just wanted to give the hot girl summer, glamour, and a little dark beauty. Indeed, the latter is her specialty.
At past VMAs, Meghan has stuck to a very strict aesthetic, incorporating both noir and boudoir. At last year's event, she wore a black bustier dress made of black see-through mesh. The racy design, created by Brandon Blackwood, flaunted her matching thong.
Megan Thee Stallion walked the 2019 red carpet in a variation of this look. She too wore black lingerie, but her look was completely different. She wore a glamorous blazer covered in rhinestones and pearls with a matching bra, hot pants, and over-the-knee boots.
If it ain't broke, don't fix it!
