Bella Hadid rides a horse through the streets of New York City

The streets of New York City are prone to, shall we say, unusual happenings, but supermodels riding horses through the Meatpacking District are not usually seen. However, on Thursday, September 12, Bella Hadid joined her rodeo champion boyfriend, Adan Banuelos, for a horseback riding demonstration.

The catwalk star ended NYFW with a flourish, showing off her skills with Banuelos at a pop-up event for celebrity-favorite western wear brand Kemo Sabe.

Dressed in their finest western wear, the two jumped on their horses to show the crowd how cutting (an equestrian sport in which horse and rider work together to pull a cow away from the rest of the herd) is done.

Although there were no cows strutting down Gansevoort Street, Hadid and Banuelos expertly maneuvered their horses and demonstrated their cutting expertise in a dirt pen as fans watched.

It should be noted that Banuelos, an equestrian star, “specializes in training and showing cutting horses.”

Wearing jeans and chaps, Hadid unbuttoned her shiny long-sleeved shirt to reveal her cleavage and donned a cowboy hat.

Bañuelos is currently collaborating with Kemo Sabe for his brand Teton Ridge, and after showing the audience his cutting skills, he showed a presentation of his new short film “Window to the West.”

This is not the first time the two have appeared in western wear at NYFW; on September 11, Hadid rocked a rodeo-inspired look when he shared dinner with the cowboys at Zero Bond.

The founder of Orebella and herself a master equestrian, Bañuelos first tied the knot in October 2023, and the supermodel went public with their relationship in an Instagram post in February 2024.

After this Fashion Week demonstration, who knows where their love for horses will take them next.
