Dakota Fanning's gold and pearl 2024 Emmy red carpet dress looks like a champagne glass

I feel like I've grown up with Dakota Fanning; at 30, she's two years older than I am, and I've spent my entire childhood and adolescence watching her perform, so it's only fitting that I toast her on the red carpet at the 2024 Emmy Awards in one of her champagne gowns.

Fanning was the star of Patricia Highsmith's 1955 crime novel, The Talented Mr.

Fanning hit the red carpet tonight in a stunning strapless dress by Armani Privé. Working with longtime stylist Samantha McMillen, Fanning's champagne satin dress featured a classic bustier-style top with a sweetheart neckline and a delicate pearl-embellished tulle overlay, a classic of the era in which “Ripley” was set It created a classic ambiance of the era in which “Ripley” was set. Although the show was all black and white, Fanning shined on the carpet as she closed out the 2024 awards season. She accessorized with silver drop earrings.

When it comes to beauty, Fanning is known for keeping it simple. Once again, she wore glowing skin and natural peachy makeup. Her light blonde hair was styled straight with a high-gloss shine.

Just because this is Fanning's first nomination does not mean she has skipped Emmys in the past. In fact, she has appeared twice before: in 2018, Fanning wore a mint green Dior gown to support her nominated show, The Alienist. She proved the power of monotone red carpet moments with her dangling green earrings.

Her first carpet appearance was at the 55th awards ceremony in 2003. Fanning was starring in Steven Spielberg's award-winning limited series Taken. At the time she wore a cute pink and black dress with a large bow at the hip. She accessorized with a matching pink beaded shoulder bag and black Mary Jane flat shoes, which were surprisingly trendy. Love!

The petite star did not receive the Outstanding Limited Series Award that night, but she did get to pose with her globe-shaped trophy.
