Amal Clooney's Citrus September jumpsuit tells the story of the end of summer in Brat Green

The Venice International Film Festival is as much a celebration of fashion as it is of film. The 81st edition of the event, which ran from last Wednesday through this Saturday, was a showstopper of a look. One person who shone brightly both on and off the carpet was Amal Clooney. Last week, this human rights lawyer showed off the colorful contents of her suitcase, including a canary yellow sundress and a Versace gown. And today, in her tangerine-toned traveling attire, “That's it!” She said.

Clooney's idea of an airport look is simple, but it's not all sweatshirt “guru fits” and Uggs. She left the festival this morning wearing a bright orange sleeveless jumpsuit with a mock neck, high waist, and of course a cape. Clooney accessorized with a small white shoulder bag, oversized black square-framed sunglasses, and metallic silver high-heeled sandals.

She highlighted her clementine-colored getup with soft-glam medium-length nude nails, an effortlessly blowout side part (Gen Z is quivering), and a lightly glossed lip.

Last week, she arrived in Venice in an equally vibrant citrus hue, a lemon chiffon mini-dress with a fluttery skirt and curly lettuce hem. Beige Manolo Blahnik peep-toe wedges and an oversized straw hat with a gold scarf wrapped around it added to the “first day of vacation” vibe.

She then attended a Cartier dinner in a custom Bach Mai gown with shiny fringe that graded from ice blue to berry blue. And on the red carpet, Clooney wore a butter yellow corseted custom gown by Atelier Versace.

Black, white, and beige were prevalent on the red carpet, with striking silhouette neutral tones dominating the step-and-repeat throughout the festival. But Clooney was not alone in her bold use of color. In fact, several other stars also incorporated fruit. Emily Ratakowski wore a kiwi-colored gown from the Gucci archives from 2004. Emma Corbin wore a near neon-lime skirt suit by Miu Miu. Jenna Ortega walked the carpet in a custom Christian Dior wedding gown with cherry red tulle.

After a summer dominated by the brat green trend, Amal Clooney's Clementine jumpsuit is enough to start a citrusy September movement. Scroll down to purchase this star-inspired orange look.
