Zendaya and Tom Holland are finally back in the U.S. after spending most of the summer together in Europe, and at their first official joint sighting on Saturday, August 31 in Calabasas, California, the two dressed their closet staples in slightly different ways.

According to People's exclusive report, Zendaya and Tom Holland matched up in white tank tops for a casual daytime outing over Labor Day weekend and ahead of Zendaya's 28th birthday on September 1. Sticking to her minimalist chic style, the Challengers star wore a basic white tank top that was just above her navel.

Z elevated her plain white shirt with a pair of wide-leg, ultra-cropped pants (culottes), a reigning trend for summer 2024, paired with black mary jane-style mule flats that accentuated her high-waisted, knee-hiding silhouette. (As a fashion girl, Zendaya was actually wearing Maison Margiela's much talked-about tabi with a split toe.) She also added a pop of color to her neutral outfit with a lime green sheer jacket.

Zendaya wore no makeup for the day's outing and wore her honey blonde hair swept back into a low bun. Her accessories were a dainty gold necklace and diamond stud earrings. She also slung a black tote bag over her shoulder and cooled off with an iced coffee.

Holland wore a sleeveless white tank top to match Z's modest getup. The Romeo and Juliet actor paired the simple top with chocolate brown drawstring jogger pants and white sneakers for a sporty look. Holland mimicked his girlfriend's accessories, wearing a gold chain necklace and grabbing a cold iced coffee.

Zendaya and Tom Holland's relationship is now in its third year. Despite their relatively low-key activities, this summer was arguably the most common time the two were seen together, even while they were jetting off together. Throughout the season, Zendaya has been photographed by fans wearing minimalist (and corporate) summer essentials like white skirts and mary janes, tailored vests and boxer shorts, and form-fitting blazers, all in It Girl style. Whatever route Zendaya takes, Holland has also managed to match her style.

Zendaya and Tom Holland have coolly cemented their status as Hollywood's most stylish celebrity couple, behind Kaia Gerber and Austin Butler and most recently Olivia Rodrigo and Louis Partridge. They look chic on their own and are the perfect layering piece for summer and fall. Or, like Zendaya, throw on a jacket when the wind picks up.
