Katie Holmes Travels Back in Time to 2010 with Controversial Fall Denim Trend and Revealing Bra Top
Katie Holmes' street fashion has officially entered the realm of fall mode and throwbacks. In her latest outing in New York City, the actress got a head start on transitional dressing by setting aside her barrel-leg jeans in favor of the equally controversial denim trend.
The calendar may have said “September 4, 2024,” but Holmes looked as if she had stepped out of 2010. Instead of cozy light layers for a breezy day on the town, Holmes opted to relax in a lime green lace blouse. The ruffled long-sleeved shirt had a scalloped mock neck and was see-through, revealing a black underwire bra underneath. It was just the beginning of the mid-2000s codecs in her outfit.
As a Dawson's Creek alumna, she mostly appears in easy-to-wear bottoms, such as loose-fitting midi skirts and wide pants. On this occasion, however, Holmes paired a sheer shirt with mid-rise, medium-wash skinny jeans.
