Swift showed up early to the season opener at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City on Thursday, September 5, wearing the exact opposite of a football jersey and athletic shorts. Still, she was ready to score some style points. Swift wore the double denim trend with a jean Versace corset top and matching Grlfrnd tiny jean shorts (clever!). Also, Swift's signature red lipstick was subtly updated with a bright burgundy hue.

Swift's accessories were also a departure from last season's items featuring Kels' jersey number, 87. She wore Giuseppe Zanotti burgundy thigh-high boots and carried a small Louis Vuitton trunk bag in a clever nod to the Chiefs' colors and fall trends.
