There, she swapped her big shirt and slouchy pants for a different take on the controversial overalls trend, and wore a fresh pair of trendy Fall 2024 shoes.

Holmes was photographed wearing a red checked dress on her way to a late night event. The short-sleeved ensemble featured a V-shaped neckline buttoned up, elastic waist stitching, and ankle-length long pants. The “Dawson's Creek” native likes to dress in quirky yet functional silhouettes.

Overalls have skyrocketed to the top of the trend radar for 2024 because of their one-and-done finish. Holmes has previously embraced the full-coverage style, dating back to 2019's Ulla Johnson outfit.

Returning to Holmes' red jumpsuit, she paired it with shiny leather Miu Miu flats. The designer's shoes were double straps embellished with silver eyelet detailing. She completed her look with the usual accessories from last week, including burgundy Vada sunglasses and a tan Kaite maxi tote bag.
