Ashley Graham revives the Fall 2024 trend with a leopard print dress.

As the cooler weather continues, celebrities are folding up their summer white shirts and sundresses (or having their assistants do it for them) and testing out their fall looks. Stars like Reese Witherspoon, Katie Holmes, and Sabrina Carpenter have all cast their votes for the denim trend that will represent fall 2024 by sporting wide-leg jeans and denim dresses. And today, Ashley Graham is betting on leopard print as the pattern of the season.

Photographed walking through midtown Manhattan on Monday, August 12, Graham wore a calf-length leopard print dress with long sleeves and a turtleneck that showed some skin. Graham completed the outfit with metallic gold flat sandals with ultra-trendy toe loop detailing, as well as black angular cat-eye sunglasses and large silver hoop earrings with bijoux.

Last month, she showed off her summer street style in a white strapless semi-sheer crochet midi dress by Simkhai with white framed oval shades and white gold chain sandal heels. A few weeks earlier, Graham attended the Balenciaga show at Haute Couture Week in Paris in a black slit velvet gown, a shoulder-length floor-length blazer, and strappy black heels.

Today's look was a marked departure from the sophisticated monochrome attire of the past few weeks. Graham's leopard print moment introduces a pinch of playfulness to her wardrobe while maintaining her sophisticated style.

Leopard print is poised to make a comeback in fall 2024. But is it ever really gone? “In June, Jennifer Lawrence and Dior got ahead of the wave. Lawrence attended Dior's Cruise 2025 runway show wearing a leopard-print fur wrap coat from the collection.

The pattern seems to resurface as a trend every other year; after dominating culture in the late 90s and early 2000s, luxury houses such as Prada, Moschino, and Dolce & Gabbana incorporated the iconic print on fur coats and dresses, and 2016 It appeared again on the fall/winter runways. A few years later, the leopard-print midi from Realisation Par appeared in 2019, and every woman, from urban to suburban, now owns the same silk skirt. Graham's form-fitting leopard-print turtleneck dress may also be the next It item.
