Lily Collins upgrades the comeback of the controversial peplum trend with a dazzling couture look
The first part of Season 4 of “Emily in Paris” has finally arrived on Netflix after a year and a half long wait. To celebrate this long-awaited debut, the cast was dressed in their best at the premiere, which took place in Los Angeles on Wednesday, August 14.
Lily Collins' on-screen character is nothing short of eccentric (and sometimes controversial) in terms of her unique and personal style. Collins, who represented Emily in two controversial red carpet fashions, peplum and sheer, seems to have been inspired by it all.

Brandon Maxwell, Stella McCartney, and Proenza Schouler have reappeared on the Fall/Winter 2023 runways with dresses and tops with ruffles at the waist. And now celebrities like Emma Stone, Selena Gomez, and Lily Collins are pushing for a full peplum revival. Fashion is cyclical!
Love it or hate it, the return of the peplum is inevitable. But fear not, it no longer comes with its once cringe-worthy cues from a decade ago. Lily Collins has given the peplum the ultimate (and deserved) Parisienne signature...
