Summer may be coming to an end, but that doesn't mean Jennifer Lopez is done highlighting this year's must-have summer fashion trends.

On Saturday, August 18, she was spotted shopping in downtown Los Angeles wearing an all-black maxi dress with a bold open back. The multiple thin chevron-shaped cutouts and straps that made up the back of the dress gave the impression of a spider web, elevating the simple yet elegant boho chic outfit.

Lopez adorned the less-is-more summer dress with her own signature JLo Jennifer Lopez Ondra wedge sandals, and her favorite Jennifer Fisher 2-inch hoop earrings, MaxMara black oversized square sunglasses, and a MaxMara marine straw tote bag.

Lopez has worn more than a few comfortable yet fashionable maxi dresses this summer, especially while shopping in the Hamptons and enjoying a solo trip to Italy.

Last month, while enjoying the Hamptons (the star also celebrated her most recent birthday with a Bridgerton-themed blowout party featuring a carriage), Lopez wore her square-neck, ruffled pink maxi dress by LoveShackFancy with wore a chunky pair of sky-high, gold-tone Gucci espadrille wedges to enhance the skirt.

The singer and actress reportedly closed her Sag Harbor boutique to go shopping for summer dresses with stepdaughter Violet Affleck. According to Women's Wear Daily, “The boutique's doors were locked, stopping other shoppers from entering for about an hour immediately after the mother-daughter duo arrived.”

A sales representative for the New York-based lifestyle brand told Women's Wear Daily that Lopez was “very helpful and very friendly.”

When Lopez isn't wearing easy, breezy summer dresses, she's leaning toward the minimalist girl summer trend via simple jeans, T-shirts, and oversized slacks.

When she left E. Baldi Beverly Hills in early August, the “Let's Get Loud” singer wore a cropped white T-shirt, wide-leg jeans (from Gucci, of course), and naked shoes, a favorite fashion combination, He put another spin on it. [Lopez, of course, wore her favorite accessories, including Bottega Veneta sunglasses, her beloved Jennifer Fisher hoops, and a $500,000 Hermes Birkin.
