When you have generations of supermodels in the family, a mere beach day for mother and daughter becomes a Victoria's Secret fashion show, and that was certainly the case on Monday, August 5, when Kate Moss went surfing in Ibiza with her daughter and fellow model Laila.

The two were photographed taking a dip in the Mediterranean Sea during their vacation in Spain. Looking like models even in their downtime, Kate and Laila were the picture of elegant minimalism. Kate wore a strapless black bathing suit with a shirred waist and twisted sweetheart neckline. Her daughter, on the other hand, wore a simple string bikini in chocolate brown. [Last December, Kate and Laila were on the cover of Vogue. In that interview, Kate described the "balance" of their relationship: "She's laid back and I'm organized. She is intuitive and I am disciplined," and this sentiment is reflected in their clothing choices.

They both chose simple swimsuits, but their styling could not be more different. Laila wore only hoop earrings (a "carefree" choice), while Kate went for a more sophisticated "rich mom" aesthetic with a diamond statement necklace and gold bangles. She finished with black sunglasses that looked like a mix of cat-eye frames and wayfarers.

The two are rarely seen together in public, but side by side they are always a sight to behold. At London and Pairs Fashion Weeks, they can always be seen sitting in the front row, always in style, and in 2021, they were known to walk together at the Fendi Haute Couture show, sharing the runway together.
