Zoë Kravitz may be engaged to Channing Tatum, but her first love will forever be the column dress; their love affair began long before the actress put a ring on it, dating back to when she wore a chainmail version to the 2015 Met Gala.

Since then, Kravitz has worn this ultra-fitted silhouette to premieres, parties, and nearly every red carpet she has attended, not just one, but five Met Galas. From lace, sequins, and satin column dresses, to styles covered in crystals and polka dots, or completely see-through, and even skirted versions or accented with bulging capes.

At this point, the look has essentially become Zoë Kravitz's signature. When she and her fiancé, Tatum, get married, the tube-like design will likely make an appearance as well. But in the meantime, the two dressed up for the premiere of "Blink Twice" in Los Angeles and gave fans a sneak peek.

Walking the red carpet for the first time as a couple, the two wore coordinated all-black ensembles. Tatum opted for a simple noir suit, while Kravitz, in honor of her directorial debut (you know!) wore yet another column dress.

This time, Kravitz was dressed in a tiny satin dress by Saint Laurent. Her pointed pumps matched almost invisibly beneath the perfectly tailored floor-length gown. Her only other accessories were diamond starfish earrings and a crimson lip. Andrew Mukamal styled the look. [It's easy to see why Kravitz keeps coming back to the slimmer look.
