Leah Kateb, hot and new "Love Island" shower routine under $40 at the villa.
I'll be honest, I'm a "Love Island" UK girl. Tell me about the false eyelashes that Mimii Tafalas uses, or Grace Jackson's skin care regimen. As for the Love Island USA girls, I haven't seen a single girl enter the villa. Still, my TikTok For You page is filled with contestant Leah Kateb's under $40 four-step body skin care: sticky date body wash from LUSH, almond shower oil from L'Occitane, Kiehl's Whipped Creme de Corps Body Moisturizer, and Eos Vanilla Cashmere Lotion, to name a few.
The original video in which the reality star introduced each product had nearly half a million likes but a search for "Leah shower routine" yields nearly 56 million posts. Almost everywhere is sold out. Almost everywhere is sold out. But leave it to the Marie Claire team to track down the last samples on the market in the name of research.
Within two days, all the items had arrived at our office. As the bottles passed from person to person, we were all, frankly, perplexed. All of the products were sweet, especially the Sticky Dates Body Wash. Think about it: it's as sweet as a five-layer cake dipped in icing and sprinkled with sprinkles.
To say we were skeptical that these products would blend well in the shower would be an understatement. So we sent Associate Social Media Editor Ashlyn Delaney to our home to indulge in a sweet shower. Her candid impressions, along with a video review, are presented below.
