Sydney Sweeney, Parisienne Dreams of a Boho Look Right After the Runway
Actress Sydney Sweeney is single-handedly ushering in fall with a Parisian-approved bohemian look.
The star, who was reportedly headed to a recent meeting in Beverly Hills, was spotted dressed head-to-toe in ChloƩ from the brand's Fall/Winter 2024-2025 collection.
The cream-colored thigh-high mini dress and accompanying capelet appeared to be ripped from the pages of ChloƩ womenswear's Fall/Winter 2024-2025 show, which took place as part of Paris Fashion Week in February in Paris, France.
In a move that seemed to demand an immediate seasonal change, Sweeney wore her runway-familiar thigh-high black leather boots, giving off a full-blown fall vibe (and it was early August).
The Fall/Winter 2024-2025 collection returned to the brand's Boho roots, with new creative director Chemena Kamali at the helm for the first time.
The "White Lotus" actress was styled by Hollywood's hardest working stylist, Molly Dixon.
"When I met Molly, I immediately knew I wanted to work with her," Sweeney previously told Marie Claire in an email. She showed up to the meeting in overalls and sneakers. She's my type."
Actress and producer Camila Mendes said the same thing about Dixon, adding that she felt the stylist was "someone you want to be with and always be around."
"She was very good at balancing being young and cool, yet elegant and timeless," Mendes added in a phone call with Marie Claire.
Working with Dixon certainly paid off, as exemplified by Sweeney's 2024 Oscar look. In a truly bossy move, the actress paid homage to the late Marilyn Monroe while also wearing a vintage gown previously worn by fellow actress Angelina Jolie.
Sweeney, like many A-list celebrities, also leans toward last-minute trends. Recently, she posted a chaotic mirror selfie wearing a Miu Miu skirt set with a brown paisley print micro-mini skirt and matching top.
In a March interview with People, Sweeney said that one of her favorite things about being a celebrity is being able to play with and experiment with different fashion looks and trends.
"It's fun, it's like playing dress-up," she said. It's boring to keep doing the same thing over and over again."
