Jennifer Lopez has returned to New York City after a month-long stint in the Hamptons. Not even a week into her return, she's ushering in a new and old style era with the help of her favorite denim trend and her trusty Birkin bag collection.

Much of J.Lo's wardrobe in the Hamptons consisted of easygoing summer silhouettes: maxi dresses, overalls, and the occasional near-naked dress or two. Now in New York City, street style radars are catching on to the prominent pattern of wide-leg jeans and blazers.

Jennifer Lopez began her Manhattan relaunch in style: on Friday, July 26, she stepped out after a meeting and was photographed wearing a tailored blue blazer buttoned over a white T-shirt.

The "On The Floor" singer added a casual twist to her classic business-ready blazer with white sneakers. Instead of coordinating pants, she opted for Gucci wide-leg puddle jeans.

She tied the look together with gradient gold aviator shades by Bottega Veneta, large silver hoop earrings by Jennifer Fisher, and a $20,000 cream-colored Hermes birkin crocodile bag.

Lopez's afternoon glamour consisted of a high topknot bun, bronzed sparkles, and glossy pink lips.

Lopez wasted no time in launching and executing her new style era. For now, much of her wardrobe in the Big Apple seems to consist of chic blazers and her favorite denim trend, larger wide-leg jeans.

The day before, July 25, she wore a white St. Agni cutout blazer over a Gucci cropped tank and Isabel Marant ultra-wide jeans. Sky High aquazzura heels, gold sunglasses, silver hoops, and a black Birkin bag in her hand.

J.Lo may be starting a new personal style era, but she is doing so by sticking to what she knows. Wide, oversized jeans and Birkin bags are fully stocked in her closet.

These two items are staples in her regular wardrobe rotation, and many times she wears the rare Birkin bag and her favorite trendy denim at the same time. Lopez is no stranger to Gucci's wide jeans, but she also owns a pair from another designer.
