Millennial style icon Blake Lively has revived one of the biggest trends of the early 2000s: denim.

Blake Lively is the poster child for millennial fashion. Her outfits recall "The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants" and "Gossip Girl." She wears round-toe pumps, long pendant necklaces, and skinny jeans with a free-spirited abandon that totally disregards being "chuggy."

Lively's talent for reviving trends from years ago extends to the way she dresses on screen. In her new film, "It Ends With Us," she plays Lily Bloom, a florist with a sense of style much like Lively herself. In newly released promotional photos from the set, Lively wears a modern-day Canadian tuxedo (her signature look) complete with rhinestone roses, flared jeans, and a matching bra top.

Most people wouldn't touch flared jeans with a 10-foot pole, but Blake Brown's hair brand founder made them look undeniably fresh and nostalgic at the same time, pairing them with matching denim heels. (5]

"Stretchy dark denim with iron crystals is back. Thank you for bringing back an outfit I adored in middle school 🌸 @itendswithusmovie August 9🌸," Lively wrote on Instagram.

According to her caption, the actress is fully aware that her look is a blast from the past." In this outfit, I'm emotionally braces & weeping to @norahjones along with my best friend @brittneynicole_____. Of course we matched, 😵‍💫🤦‍♀️😆 we thought it was 🔥."

Aside from another lacey naked dress for the "It Ends With Us" photo shoot, Lively has been wearing denim for the past few weeks; on June 15, she wore a pair of $19,000 laser-cut Valentino jeans with the same denim pumps . Earlier that month, she was also spotted in a floor-length denim duster. After all these years, the "Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants" star still wears a good pair of jeans.
