Hello from outside Adele's Munich concert series. Multi-platinum artist Adele is bringing her bombastic fashion to the stage temporarily renamed "Adele Arena" for a series of 10 sold-out shows.

On the first day of her overseas residency, Adele wore a navy tailored gown with the same dramatic waves and flow as her power ballads. The dress, which appears to have been coordinated by her longtime stylist Jamie Mizrahi, had a heavy bateau neckline and long sleeves set over a fitted, belted bodice. From there, the gown extended into a floor-length fitted skirt with a long train that extended further behind her.

Up close, the dress concealed a detail of the skirt: a glimpse of pink satin under the long train, contrasting with the purple-blue dress that resembled the night sky. The singer lifted her skirt to reveal colorfully juxtaposed layers as she crooned hit songs like "Chasing Pavements" and "Rumor Has It" to the crowd of over 80,000.

Adele and Jamie Mizrahi, who also styled Meghan Markle and Jennifer Lawrence, approached their stage outfits with glamour first: at the 2022-2023 Las Vegas residency and in Hyde Park, London. For performances, Grammy winners often wore voluminous ball gowns like those by Schiaparelli and Louis Vuitton. Sometimes they consulted contemporary labels: Adele ended her Las Vegas residency in a custom-made gown by La Ligne, a brand usually known for striped sweaters and denim.

As of press time, Adele and her team had not yet disclosed the designer of the first dress for her Munich residency.

During the brief hiatus between the Las Vegas and Germany shows, Adele leaned toward big, bold silhouettes. Watching courtside at a Team USA exhibition basketball game with boyfriend Rich Paul, she paired an oversized orange coat with pointed slingbacks, the celebrity's favorite heel trend of the summer. Adele also showed her love of the '80s jewelry trend with a pair of exaggeratedly large gold earrings

befitting the Dynasty cast.

Her love of over-the-top jewelry has taken her abroad. At her first show in Munich, she paired a navy gown with silver hoop earrings that grazed her shoulders.

By the tenth night of her Munich residency, Adele would debut a gown of princess proportions. It is her only choice to conduct on the stage named after her. Just don't expect any new music. Adele is reportedly looking forward to a "big break" in the near future.
