Kendall Jenner wears Olympic gold slip skirt with $650 flip flops
Kendall Jenner flaunted her national and Olympic pride while attending the 2024 Paris Summer Games... In style, of course.
On Friday, August 2, the model and reality TV star was spotted leaving a restaurant in Paris, France. Her ankle-length The Row Bartelle Skit ($1,290), with a slight slit in the back, exuded simple elegance.
To complete her podium-worthy look, Jenner again turned to The Row, where she wore the brand's $650 flip-flops and carried a $5,850 Cyprus leather Margaux EW clutch. And since 2024 is the year of the minimalist girl's summer, Jenner paired a gold slip skirt with a simple black T-shirt.
Jenner is a known Olympics fan and is known for sporting American pride through her wardrobe. Earlier in the week, the famous Jenner watched Simone Biles compete in the women's all-around gymnastics event.
On Thursday, August 1, Jenner was spotted at Bercy Arena wearing two items from Team USA's closing ceremony: a red, white, and blue Ralph Lauren racing jacket and a coordinating, also patriotic, baseball cap.
As Marie Claire previously reported, instead of leaning into the athletic shorts trend or becoming a "total Olympian" in running shoes, the model was seen wearing jeans (probably from Khaite, her favorite for all things denim) and The Row black loafers, and styled a Team USA-approved look.
(Obviously, The Row is one of her go-to brands this summer!)
Like everyone else in the crowd (and around the world), Jenner was cheering for Biles and her USA Women's Gymnastics teammate, Suni Lee.
Ultimately, Biles won the gold medal (becoming the oldest gymnast to do so) and Lee won the bronze.
Jenner has clearly taken some deserved time off from modeling, after opening up about the demands of the profession in a recent interview with Emma Chamberlain on the Anything Goes podcast.
"I'm not going to sit here and say I've had the toughest journey. I think I've been extremely lucky. But I've also had my own challenges, like being overworked and not getting the job I really wanted to get."
"There were dark nights when I cried myself to sleep hysterically in random towns because I couldn't go home for three months and I was alone the whole time," she added.
Thankfully, Jenner seemed to have a big smile on her face in Paris, cheering on Team USA as they won another gold medal.
