An “unusual” hobby enjoyed by Queen Camilla until tragedy struck in 2024.

Read MoreOutside of modeling and acting, Kaia Gerber is a bookworm to the core. When off the clock, Kaia Gerber not only shows off her love for a physical book (or two) by carrying it around as an accessory, but she often coordinates the cover with the rest of her outfit. Recently, Gerber took her beloved bookish style to the next level with the revived Y2K graphic T-shirt trend.
On Wednesday, July 17, Garber was photographed enjoying a night out with boyfriend Austin Butler in New York City. The 22-year-old, who went to see the Broadway play “Job” at the Hayes Theatre, wore a bold navy blue baby T-shirt; taking a cue from the early 2000s, Garber's short-sleeved top read, “COME TO MY HOUSE I HAVE GREAT BOOKS.” as if she were boldly signing fans to join her online book club, Library Science.
She paired the slightly cropped shirt with straight, hip-hugging, mid-rise tailored pants. She wore black chunky mini pumps and slung a polished leather mini bag over her shoulder, in typical Gerber style, and adorned her hand with a copy of the play's show notes and reading material.
The Palm Royale actress kept her date-night glamour simple by opting for a pink lip and wearing her brunette hair in loose waves.
Her boyfriend, Austin Butler, was seen following behind her in black pants, white sneakers, a navy and orange cap, and a boxy gray T-shirt.
Kaia Gerber's off-the-radar look is less than most style stars often spotted on the radar. Compared to fellow supermodels like the Hadid sisters and Kendall Jenner, Garber prefers to dress conservatively. But whenever she steps out, and for the past few weeks, she's been showing us how to style popular silhouettes like Rising It sneakers and timeless ballet flats in an understated way.
Gerber's latest obsession is Y2K-inspired graphic T-shirts. She wore a vintage T-shirt in New York City just a few days ago on July 10, styling the bright yellow tee with a dainty white midi skirt.
Celebrities have recently capitalized on the graphic T-shirt craze to prove a point. In recent months, Jennifer Lawrence picked up a replica of Challengers' “I TOLD YA,” Jennifer Lopez made a self-reference with a “JLO BE MY MAMA” crop top, and Rihanna playfully predicted her retirement from music with an “I'm Retired” shirt Rihanna playfully foreshadowed the possibility of her retirement from the music industry with her “I'm Retired” shirt. Rihanna playfully foreshadowed her potential retirement from music in an “I'm Retired” shirt. From maxi dresses and midi skirts to high-waisted pants and slouchy jeans, the stylish t-shirt continues to showcase its versatility.
Statement tops aside, Kaia Gerber's recent look marks the official return of her street style bookworm “fit.” While she didn't have this month's reading in hand this time around, her embroidered shirt indicates that it's only a matter of time before she reinstates the book suggestion in future looks.
