Haley Beaver's Farmer's Market Nails, Fresh Produce at Your Fingertips

When it comes to summer beauty, sunscreen, citrus fragrances, and pink blush are staples. Personally, I like to express the season through my manicure, opting for bright colors and playful designs that convey the carefree energy of the season. Apparently, I'm not alone: at the start of summer, Haley Bieber's nails are coated with miniatures of farmers' market fruits and vegetables.

In an Instagram post on Wednesday, July 10, Bieber revealed a close-up of her Farmer's Market manicure; in a second photo from the carousel captioned "summer so far," she shows a translucent layer of clear polish showing off her fresh nails, which begin with a translucent layer of clear polish. On top of that, she has painted different fruits and vegetables on each finger, including tomatoes, blueberries, corn, cherries, and carrots. [Her longtime nail artist, Zora Ganzoligto, designed the little treats (and shared them on her own Instagram). This feels like the culmination of everything Bieber loves in terms of beauty: she's usually the starting point for playful, food-inspired trends like buttery yellow nails and strawberry shortcake makeup.

Celebrities may literally have a new summer nail trend on their hands. Ganzolicht painted French nails crawling with garden insects for Bieber's best friend Kylie Jenner just a few days ago. With yet another celebrity endorsement, we can consider outdoor nails a veritable moment of summer beauty.

Bieber's manicure is the perfect combination of simplicity and subtle detailing, prompting us to rethink what it means to have summer-appropriate nails. That's not hyperbole: Fresha reports that searches for "Hailey Bieber nails," inspired by Ganzorigt's sneak peek at her farmer's market art, have increased 350% in the past week. The style also eschews summer symbols like palm trees and swimsuits for a healthy, homestead-inspired look.

Of course, anyone can get this look by sharing Bieber's nails with their favorite artists. But if you enjoy DIY manicures at home like I do, consider painting on your own designs using an ultra-fine nail brush made for small illustrations. Or, you can save a lot of time by investing in a fruit-filled nail sticker sheet.

Below are some of my favorite products for making your manicure look like you just bought it at the local farmer's market.
