Time to go to the pub to celebrate and pour a beer: The Industry finally returns for Season 3 of HBO's financial drama about young employees and their mentors at the London office of investment bank Pierpoint & Company, which premiered to critical acclaim in 2020. It first aired to critical acclaim in 2020 and has since developed a devoted cult following that trusts Harper (Michala), Yasmin (Marisa Abella), Robert (Harry Rorty), and Eric (Ken Leung) to close any billion-dollar deal.

The third season will fill a void on HBO now that "Succession" is off the air, less than two years after Season 2 aired in late 2022. Ahead of the third season of Industry, here's everything we know about the next installment.

Industry season 3 premieres Sunday, August 11 at 9 p.m. ET on HBO and Max; HBO announced the show's long-awaited return in late May.

Like all HBO original dramas, the drama, created by Mickey Down and Conrad Kay, will air every Sunday for the duration of this season.

Like seasons 1 and 2 of "Industry," season 3 will consist of eight episodes. As such, the show will be available from mid-August through late September until the season finale on September 29.

As reported by Deadline, nearly all of the key cast members of "Industry" will return for Season 3; Myha'la's character, Harper, boldly decided to leave Pierpoint at the end of Season 2, but she is back to do so, and we can expect to follow her latest venture in the series. At Pierpoint, young employees like Yasmin (Marisa Abella), Robert (Harry Rorty), and Venetia (Indi Lewis) continue to struggle, while Harper's former mentor Eric (Ken Leung), Yasmin's irritating manager, Kenny (Connor McNeal), Trader Risch (Sagar Radia), and FICC's Bill (Trevor White), his bosses continue to provide direction. We can also expect to see customer Nicole (Sarah Parrish), who was inappropriate for both Harper and Robert, and Yasmin's father Charles (Adam Levy).

The official cast list released by Deadline when HBO announced the season 3 premiere date did not include Gus and Jesse Bloom, played by David Johnson and Jay Duplass, respectively. When Gus was fired from Pierpoint for leaking information to Harper and she passed it on to Bloom, leading him to hire Gus as his assistant, the two apparently flew to the United States to complete their respective arcs in the industry world.

While some core cast members will not be returning, a handful of exciting names are set to join the ensemble; in April 2023, Deadline reported that former "Game of Thrones" star Kit Harington had been cast in a major role in "Industry." reported that he has been cast. According to the magazine, the British actor will play Henry Mack, "CEO and founder of Lumi, an exciting green tech energy company on the verge of going public."

Jon Snow himself is not the only HBO alumnus coming to Industry. Shortly after his casting, Variety revealed Sarah Goldberg of Barry as another new cast member. She will play Petra Koenig, "a portfolio manager at the ethical investment fund FutureDawn. She will share a lot of screen time with Maijala, as Harper is said to be working with her after she leaves Pierpoint.

According to Deadline, other new cast members include Miriam Petche as Sweetpea Golightly, Andrew Cavill as Lord Norton, Roger Barclay as Otto Mostyn, Fadi Elsaid as Ari El-Mansour, Dennis Fiona Button as Oldroyd.

Yes, HBO released a teaser for Season 3 of "Industry" in early July. In this short clip, we see the first footage of Harrington and Goldberg in their new roles. Henry Mack appears to be an unruly and influential technocrat who spreads big money around, while Koenig seems to be a calculated corporate powerhouse. It also reveals how Harper is still struggling with his toxic loyalty to Pierpoint and Eric. Eric may have taken Robert under his wing since then, as seen when he repeatedly tells Robert, "I'm a man, I don't condone it."

There's gripping chatter at dinners and office open floor plans, parties on boats and in casinos, people sipping champagne, and even a shirtless Harrington. So it looks like another raging season of "Industry" is about to begin.

The next season of "Industry" should be as tense and chaotic as the team's sales calls and after-work spree combined. As fans may remember, season two ended with the London office facing liquidation after multiple sexual assaults and abuses of power came to light, leading to a major staff shakeup. Also, Harper's feud with Eric, who fired her when he found out she had not graduated from college, culminated in a major focus in Season 3: where did she land? Yasmin likewise went through a major change at the end of the previous season. After questioning her father about his affair, she was disowned by him and turned to Robert.
