Haley Bieber's "Strawberry Shortcake" Makeup Routine Requires 12 Cute and Pink Products
When Haley Bieber declares a beauty trend, it's only a matter of time before her favorite products sell out. Remember last summer's chrome nail polish shortage? Or remember her "peach beach-inspired" summer makeover just a few days ago.
Shared via TikTok, the model's latest makeup look is layered pink, like strawberry shortcake. This summer beat is so simple, but it takes 12 different makeup products to complete the entire look.
Complexion products come first. Bieber is a devotee of makeup artist Mary Phillips' underpainting technique, which involves contouring and concealing before applying foundation. If you want to follow her selections closely, you'll need Dolce Glow's Contour Self-Tanning Sculpt and Glow. The soon-to-be mom previously shared in a YouTube video, "It's not just a bronzing wand, it bronzes and has a self-tanning effect." Then she uses a small amount of Caussus Revealer concealer and Chanel Les Beiges foundation.
Once that's done, add a little color to the complexion. Now, given that Rohde has launched a six-color blush (and the editors of Marie Claire endorsed the product in their review of Pocket Blush earlier this month!) ), Bieber's extensive use of rosy shades comes as no surprise. She uses what appears to be Piggy and Juice Box shades layered over the apples of her cheeks. She uses Tom Ford's Shade and Illuminate palette and a small amount of bronzer and highlighter.
After a brow gel, mascara, a small amount of setting powder, and a freckle fake, Bieber demonstrates a four-product lip combo. She begins by using what looks like an unlabeled eyeshadow pencil as a lip liner. It's a plummy shade that blends nicely with the Makeup Forever Anywhere Caffeine Lipliner she always uses. She centered her pocket blush and finished off her lips with Lip Peptide Treatment.
I plan to recreate this look ASAP. If you too want to get the "shortcake" summer aesthetic, buy all the products you need.
