All About "Perfect Match" Season 2's Biggest Actress, Jessica Vestal
Netflix's chaotic dating show like "Perfect Match" Season 2, aka "Bachelor in Paradise," has attracted another alumna from the streaming giant's vast array of reality series, having just appeared on season 6 of the dating show in early 2024 That's why. She showed off her confidence by swearing to her date, Jimmy Presnell, that she needed an EpiPen to ease her shock after witnessing how gorgeous she was, giving rise to the season's most famous catchphrase.
In "The Perfect Match," she was linked to one of the most infamous reality stars in Netflix history, Harry Josey, who leads with his looks and personality.
For those who missed the latest season of "Love is Blind" and are wondering if Vestal and Jowsey can make it in the real world, here's what you need to know about the "Perfect Match" season 2 stars.
Vestal, 29, is an influencer and TV personality who rose to fame after appearing on "Love Is Blind" Season 6. In her Instagram bio, she describes her occupation as "comedian" and herself as "Autumn's mother, foster care advocate, and Crohn's disease survivor."
According to her "Love is Blind" bio, she previously worked as an executive assistant and is based near Charlotte, N.C. Since the show's premiere in February 2024, Vestal has appeared on Metro by T-Mobile, L'Oreal Paris and Ulta Beauty, among others.
In addition to her fan-favorite "epipen" reading on "Love Is Blind," Vestal is best known for being a devoted single mother to her 11-year-old daughter Autumn.
Autumn appears regularly on her mother's Instagram and TikTok. In a recent post celebrating her daughter's 11th birthday, Jessica wrote of her daughter, "My purpose. My first love. My greatest accomplishment. The coolest, funniest, sweetest girl in the world. She is 11 today and I could not be more proud to be her mother."
When Vestal appeared in "Perfect Match," she immediately hit it off with "Too Hot to Handle" alum Harry Jowsey and made an unlikely connection; the two were set up on a date and became a couple shortly thereafter.
They are still getting along well at the end of episode 6, which premieres on June 7 and will be the last episode to air. However, they have already had one argument fueled by doubts about Josie's reputation (which is appropriate, considering his stacked dating history), an issue that remains unresolved as the pair heads into the Season 2 finale of "Perfect Match," which airs on June 21. It is likely to add further bumps to the road.
Meanwhile, Vestal has spoken in interviews about his relationship with Jawzy since "Perfect Match" first aired, and he seems to have nothing but kind things to say. (Or perhaps she is withholding criticism for the possibility of a reunion.)
Speaking to Business Insider, Vestal praised Jawzy for being in her "comfort zone" while she was uncomfortable during the show. She also addressed his reputation, saying, "At that point, based on my experience with him, I had no reason not to believe what he said."
"I consider Harry a veteran of the reality TV world. 'Harry was my comfort zone. I got a lot of comfort from having Harry around and he told me to focus on me and us, not the chaos going on around me."
While we'll have to wait until the finale to know if Vestal and Jowsey will make it as a couple and if they are still dating, one of the stars has spoken publicly in recent months about their recent relationship status: in April, Jowsey discussed her recent secret relationship on her podcast Boyfriend Material, in which she was dating during her appearance on "Dancing with the Stars" last fall. Jowsey did not reveal the name of his partner, but the timing may have coincided with Perfect Match's production schedule. Season 2 was filmed in August 2023, so the couple could still be together when DWTS began in September.
