Spoilers ahead for "Perfect Match" Season 2, Episodes 1-6. Finding love on a reality show is a challenge in itself, but for Perfect Match Season 2 couple Harry Jowsey and Jessical Vestal, the hurdle is even higher. The former has a reputation (and complicated dating history) ahead of him. He admits in episode 3 that he has "slept with almost everyone on the Netflix reality show." Jessica's appearance on Netflix's biggest hit reality show, Love Is Blind, was a fan favorite in Season 6, but that season had not yet appeared on Netflix by the time Perfect Match was filmed in the summer of 2023.

From what we've seen so far in Perfect Match Season 2, Vestal may be the woman who turns Harry from a notorious bachelor into a devoted, therapeutic partner (at least, if you still believe in the ending of Netflix's dating series). We won't know the couple's fate until the Perfect Match finale airs on June 21, but long before the show hit the screen, there were some clues hidden about the couple's relationship status. See what we found out about whether Harry and Jessica's romance materialized outside of the Perfect Match villa.

From the moment Harry entered the villa in the Season 2 premiere of Perfect Match, his reputation was the biggest obstacle to finding love. After all, he was the man who came between Perfect Match Season 1 winner Dom Gabriel and Georgia Hassarati. (Only the three of us know the truth of this statement, but Harry emphasizes in his intro that he is a lady killer, so let's go with that.) Despite this past, he claims that therapy and self-help books have helped him embrace a new era of dating with an eye toward long-term commitment and marriage. The first shadow of doubt appears in his match with Elise Hutchinson from Too Hot to Handle. When Harry tells her that he would like her to be more physically affectionate, Ellis points out that his past makes it difficult to trust him (fair enough), to which he seems quite hurt and resentful (maybe not fair).

After arranging a date, Jessica and Harry hit it off immediately, and Jessica is a perfect match for him in the perfect match bubble. As a blank slate, she seems to lean into their connection, allowing Harry to try to be the more mature man he now says he is, ready to date a single mother. However, she is not afraid to confront Harry when he acts suspiciously. When she learns that Harry has been faking his friendship with Ellis, she says the line, "I don't want to go into the graveyard of relationships ruined by my relationship with you."

Later, Harry's "best friend," Dom, makes a comment that does not reflect well on Harry's pre-film moves-"Why did you come here when everyone is so pure? In response, Harry gets emotional, Jessica apologizes, and even says that he was overthinking it the next morning. Harry gets emotional, and Jessica apologizes the next morning, saying she was overthinking it.

Unfortunately (or predictably, if you know the fate of the Perfect Match Season 1 couple), Jessica and Harry's relationship does not seem to stand the test of time. The biggest hint came from Harry himself, who shared some of the gossip on the first episode of his podcast, Boyfriend Material. In that episode, Harry recounts a time when he competed on Dancing with the Stars in the fall of 2023 and admits to having a secret relationship during the filming of the competitive dance show.

At the time, DWTS fans widely speculated that Harry was dating his dance partner, 18-year-old professional dancer Riley Arnold. (To be fair, the series has a history of dating between the performers.) According to Harry, however, the rumor got between him and his then-girlfriend, whose identity he kept secret, and contributed to the breakup. He did not reveal the name of his ex-girlfriend or any details about her during the podcast episode, but took the time to tell her "I miss you."

The pair dated briefly after they finished filming "Perfect Match" and said goodbye early last fall; according to TMZ, Harry and Jessica were seen cuddling and happily lovebirds with each other in Mexico last September. The photo did not surface until March of this year, but when season 6 aired in early 2024, reality show fans learned the identity of the "Love Is Blind" alum and discovered that she was connected to another Netflix star. Considering when the photos were taken, the timeline made sense as to when the two continued dating and when they broke up.

So did Harry ruin "The Perfect Match" before the streaming broadcast began? However, it is difficult for a cast member with such a public career to keep the status of their relationship under wraps for nearly a year after filming. Jessica even revealed that she was single when "Love Is Blind" Season 6 aired. So it seems that "The Perfect Match" has once again produced a memorable, but temporary, romance. (And hopefully, if Jessica's daughter ever watches Harry's blunt confession, she'll fast forward and listen in.)
