The long-awaited adaptation of the "Three Women" mini-series finally has its premiere date
If you read Lisa Taddeo's Three Women at the time of its release in 2019 and immediately fell in love with it (as we did with Marie Claire), you were patiently waiting for an adaptation of the series.
Shortly after the publication of a non-fiction book about the sexual and emotional lives of 3 women of different backgrounds, Showtime ordered an adaptation of the series. It went into production in late 2021, but by early 2023, the network had dropped the finished series. A few months later, it was then recovered by Starz.
Finally, as IndieWire reports, the release date for the long-awaited project, which will feature Shailene Woodley, Betty Gilpin, DeWanda Wise and Gabrielle Creevy, has been announced. The three women will officially premiere at Starz on Friday, September 13, with the episode hitting the Starz app at midnight 10P.m.ET on the cable..

The Starz drama, created by Taddeo, will meet three "ordinary" women to tell their personal stories as she faces grief in her own family she will meet a housewife (Gilpin) who is having an affair, an open married woman (wise), and a student watching her married teacher (Creevy).
The official synopsis states, "Three women are on a crash course to radically overturn their lives." Lina (Gilpin), a housewife in the suburbs of Indiana, is a decade into a passionless marriage when she embarks on an affair that quickly consumes everything and changes her life. Sloane (Wise), a glamorous entrepreneur from the Northeast, has a devoted open marriage with Richard (Blair Underwood) until two sexy new strangers threaten their ambitious love story. North Dakota student Maggie (Creevy) weather a fierce storm after accusing her married English teacher of inappropriate relationships. When the writer Gia (Woodley) convinces each to tell her own story, they change the course of her life forever.
In addition to Tadeo being billed as the creator of the show, she is executive produced along with Emmy Rossum and Kathy Cilic (inventing Anna) and Laura Eason (House of Cards) as showrunners.
