Cardi B squeezes more than 25 coquette bows into her hair at once

Girlhood appreciation and the accompanying coquette core trend peaked in the first half of the year. Almost everything, including napkins, sweaters and soup cans, had pink ribbons attached. In our hair there is a bow, which is mainly at home - and Cardi B seems to be petitioning that the beloved trend will become a permanent fixture in the world of beauty.

The lyrics are certainly worth listening to, but Cardi's hair caught my full attention. Her long, dark hair was literally covered with a small blue and white bow. I counted more than 25 of the clips that were staggered across her hairstyle.

While Cardi's current style focuses on the number of bows, her hair stylist Mia, also known as Tokyo Stylez, was not without much inspiration. "The bow is back — it's not just a holiday," 901 hair stylist Natty Jackson previously told Marie Claire while chatting about hair trends in 2024. "This year you can really channel your inner coquette girl."

Bow dominated the Spring/Summer 2024 Haute Couture runway circuit. They appeared in Chanel with a large velvet ribbon perched on top of a ponytail, Dior with the hair stylist Guido Paolo pinning a dainty ribbon on a braided bow, and Giambattista Valli, where not 1 but 2 bows were staggered in style in each ponytail.

The dainty ribbon is not only a home to find hair styling, but also an ideal nail accessory. "With the addition of a sweet little bow, any mani can feel like a little girly gift," said celebrity nail artist Miss Pop previously told Marie Claire. "Fix them with glue dots on the eyelashes," added Miss Pop, "you'll be good to go."

The recent beauty of Cardi B does not include coquette bows or pearls. If she is committed to this today, it may be the beginning of a romantic new era of beauty. Ahead, shop bows of all shapes and sizes to follow her lead.
