Eva Longoria has not changed her Cannes style in two decades

By the count of Eva Longoria, she has been climbing the red carpet steps of the Cannes Film Festival for 19 years. One style directive has maintained an event that feels fresh for nearly two decades of appearance: it allows her to "color out of line"

Speaking to me from Hôtel Martinez's L'Oréal Paris Suite, the director and actress presented the French Living Room as an invitation to step out of her comfort zone. Ella describes her trip to the famous film circuit. "I think coming down to Cannes is because it's a global audience. You can probably take more risks on this red carpet and push the envelope," she says. "I feel like the United States — it's a bit less conservative, but it's just safer."

But Longoria has a caveat: Her border—pressing charm, plunging by Elie Saab, by Crystal-coated gowns and by Tony Ward, has a dramatically different look every carpet she walks on, but I think Longoria's 2024 circuit as well as her own has a different look." Counted 8 official costume changes - she kept her hair and makeup in a fairly consistent state from her first appearance to the present.

"I like simple grams. I'm really obsessed with the shape of the little head of hair and have a very pretty make-up like a strong lash line, and that's about it," she explains, "by keeping her beauty classic,"such things allow fashion to do the job in terms of making a statement.""

At Cannes this year, Longoria has walked the red carpet to support films such as Emma Stone's dark comedy "Kind of Kindness" and Selena Gomez's musical "Emilia Perez." In the process, she has also set the stage for her next major project: Women's Land, a feel-good set in the Wine Country of Spain

This show is her first since Desperate Wives ended in 2012. Preparation for her return to the small screen has changed Longoria's approach to beauty, when she's not in step-and-repeat. "If you have a shift in focus to skin care and your skin is not good, you can't put on makeup or look good on TV," she says. As a result, she and her glam team have a longer process (including de-puffing, hydration, protection, and plump) before sitting in a makeup chair.

Facify's six-in-one Facial Smoothing and Lymphatic Drainage Wand has become a game changer for Longoria. (She tells me that she loves products that can multitask more than others."I put my Revitalift serum and then I just use the tool and wake up under your eyes, which is important when you're in the camera," she says.

Innovative beauty tools and custom couture gowns are not Cannes updates Longoria is finally the most passionate. She says it's the festival's evolving and increasingly inclusive atmosphere, with Greta Gerwig currently chair of the jury and Lily Gladstone as a fellow judge, with women from around the world directing and leading some of the most lively films."In the movies, her Cannes beauty was never one of them.
