'Sell OC' Season 4: Everything We Know

'Sell OC' Season 4: Everything We Know

Season 3 of Netflix's "Selling the OC," a spin-off of Selling Sunset, launched on May 3, bringing back the Newport Beach branch of the Oppenheim Group. Not surprisingly, Season 3 upped the ante on the drama of the show so far, taking it to a sometimes hilarious and mildly controversial level. From Alex Hall and Tyler Stanaland's failed launch to Sean Palmieri's alleged split, countless fans took to social media to share their comments.

Still, the question remains whether the cast of "The OC" will return for a fourth season and what it will look like after the departures of key cast members Read everything we know about the possibility of a "Selling the OC" season 4.

Selling the OC's future is currently uncertain; Netflix had previously renewed both Season 2 and Season 3, so now is the time for the streaming giant to decide whether to re-up for another two-season order (or maybe even one Even if it is, that's not characteristic of Selling's show.) According to Netflix, season 3 logged over 10 million hours of viewing in its first week, so the chances for a season 4 renewal look good.

The world of "Selling," or at least shows that have been renewed for multiple seasons of "Selling" (I miss "Selling Tampa"), follows a rapid production schedule. Typically, two new seasons are planned at a time, then two are filmed in a row and released within just a few months. For example, Selling the OC was renewed for seasons 2 and 3 in January 2023, and a few months later season 2 was filmed at about the same time, with season 2 being released in September 2023 and season 3 in May 2024.

If renewal announcements for Seasons 4 and 5 of Selling the OC are made by the fall, we may see new episodes by the same time next year or early summer 2025.

While most of the "Selling the OC" cast will likely return for the new season, there have been significant changes for the O group since filming for season 3 ended last summer. First, Alexandra Jarvis is leaving the brokerage, leaving the office down to one Alexandra.

In an interview with PEOPLE magazine, Jarvis revealed that she left O Group "a few months ago."

"There were many factors that led to my decision," she said, referring to the "toxic culture" exhibited by some of her castmates prior to that.

"I don't think anyone is surprised [by my departure]," Jarvis added." I don't really know what to say about it except that it's time to leave the party."

Meanwhile, perhaps less surprising after a tumultuous season, Sean Palmieri announced that he will be leaving the O Group in November 2023.In a statement to Entertainment Weekly, the real estate agent said that leaving the brokerage was purely a "business move" and that he was "really excited."

"Unfortunately, the Oppenheim Group did not fit my culture," Palmieri said, also revealing that he would be working in San Diego County.

Rounding out the departures was Tyler Stanaland, who announced that he was leaving to work with his father and brother in October 2023 after considering a career change during season 3. Tyler worked with his father for 12 years before moving to the O Group in November 2021.

"Leaving the Oppenheim Group was not an easy decision, but it is the right one for me and my clients," he said in an emailed statement to PEOPLE.

He explained that he would no longer appear on the series, as "Selling the OC" revolves around the Oppenheim Group's agents.

As of the release of Season 3, the rest of the show's cast, including Alex Hall, Alexandra Rose, Austin Victoria, Brandi Marshall, Gio Heroux, Kayla Cardona, Lauren Short, and Polly Brindle, are still listed as agents on the website.

It is worth noting that Ali Harper is not included on this website, perhaps because she is not yet a fully licensed agent; in an interview with Us Weekly, the Tennessee native confirmed that she has not yet been tested.

"So I'm still in the process," she said. 'It took me quite a while to get approved to take the actual exam. It's just kind of out of my hands."
