Dua Lipa's Coquette Chanel Naked Dress, 1,000 hours in the making.

Just when the girlhood aesthetic was starting to feel played out, Dua Lipa found a way to merge it with the sheer trend in a Chanel Coquette Naked dress.

On Thursday, April 25, the pop star appeared at the Time100 Gala at Manhattan's Lincoln Center in a custom-made ensemble styled by Lorenzo Posocco. Upon closer inspection, the floor-hitting Chanel gown featured see-through lace-like elements covered in crystal embellishments (45,000 embroidered gems to be exact). Ripa's costume for the evening is said to have taken over 1,000 hours to complete.

Her dress for the evening had a deep V-neckline. A keyhole cutout was visible at the navel. The look was finished with a coquettish prettiness with a black and white bow tie in the center

An abstract diamond necklace and matching bijoux ring completed the 28-year-old's red carpet moment. She wore her dark red hair down in loose waves styled by Peter Lux and opted for a simple glamorous style by Katie Jane Hughes.

Ripa was honored as one of the 51 most influential women on the 2024 Time 100 list, which spans the film, music, and sports industries. After the event, which also featured a performance on stage, she enjoyed a late-night dinner at Zero Bond with boyfriend Callum Turner.

The Future Nostalgia singer changed from a semi-sheer gown into a floral mesh midi dress. The halter neckline, side draping, and asymmetrical hem of the skirt gave the dress a unique look. She wore a long black trench coat over the top, sheer black tights, and matching pointed satin pumps.

Actor Turner wore a navy blue suit with a white button-up, satin light blue tie, and black leather shoes.

Ripa joins the ranks of style stars like Bella Hadid and Anya Taylor-Joy who are unpacking the controversial sheer trend for spring. She's also keen on going the unconventional route this season. This week alone, she wore even more unexpected pieces. Metallic colors and Matrix-inspired trench coats were in her wardrobe rotation.

Ripa's recent clothing choices may be part of her affinity for experimentation, as noted in the TIME interview." I love the idea of embodying different characters and having a mission ...... I also love that when I go to a photo shoot, I can completely change my look." It gives me a sort of different personality."
