Zendaya has embraced a variety of style personalities throughout her Challengers press tour tennis fashion, from a surreal Loewe dress in Sydney to an angelic Louis Vuitton gown at the film's Paris debut. on April 8, at the "Challengers" Rome premiere, Zendaya tapped into her inner 90s minimalist.

After starting off in a glittering Loewe dress and tennis ball heels, Zendaya returned to the Challengers step-and-repeater in her most understated look of the tour so far. She wore a custom-made white Calvin Klein skirt suit styled by Lo Roach and nothing but a Bulgari snake necklace under her blazer.

The streamlined suit looked like a set taken from Caroline Bessette Kennedy's closet, with its clean lines and unadorned fabric. To emphasize the simplicity of the outfit, Zendaya limited her other accessories to white Louboutin heels and minimal diamond stud earrings.

Zendaya's Calvin Klein suit was the third time she wore head-to-toe white on the Challengers press tour. In Sydney, she wore a Lacoste sports bra and a deconstructed, embellished net skirt, and in Paris over the weekend, a strapless, drop-waist Louis Vuitton gown. White is a popular color for athletes competing in tennis, and at Wimbledon, one of tennis' most illustrious (and controversial) tournaments, it is the dress code.

Otherwise, the two channel Zendaya's on-screen character, Tashi Duncan, in a more obvious tennis reference. Take, for example, the custom Loewe item Zendaya wore on Monday morning: a varsity stripe and pleated skirt, nothing more than a dressed-up tennis dress. And she paired it with stilettos that looked like tennis ball spears.

Zendaya also paid homage to the tennis court color scheme with a Louis Vuitton checkered court dress and LV chartreuse silk set in Paris, and a still unidentified cargo top and skirt she wore to a press conference in Rome.

By the time Challengers finally opens on April 26, audiences may think of Zendaya before Serena Williams or Maria Sharapova when it comes to tennis fashion. And until the next red carpet, Zendaya's understated Calvin Klein custom-made suit will serve as a little spring styling inspiration.
