Olivia Rodrigo has shed her former persona as a family-friendly Disney Channel star and is in the stage of a fully-grown pop-punk princess with a pair of It sneakers.

So far, Rodrigo's evolution has been accompanied by a new sound, onstage curse words, almost bizarre costumes, and plenty of Doc Martens. Rodrigo wears Doc Martens on and off stage, and walks the streets in Doc Martens' Mary Janes. Yesterday, however, Rodrigo changed his footwear for the eclipse. It's official: O. Rod is an Adidas samba girl.

Rodrigo was in the West Village wearing an oversized black trench coat, gray-black Levi's 501 jeans, a black beanie, and the elliptical Le Specs Work It! But instead of her signature leather Docs, she wore black and white Adidas Sambas, she wore.

Last week, our Guts gal opted for a slightly preppy version of the same outfit, layering a white button-down shirt under a tailored mid-length black and white speckled wool coat. This time she paired it with a platform dock, her trusty black beanie, and a pair of dark sunnies.

Yesterday's Adidas Samba gave Rodrigo's look a sporty edge and a less sophisticated rock star vibe. She tucked her hair into the collar of her jacket and emphasized the point with a baby blue T-shirt and bright white ankle socks.

Her sneaker-wearing street style was a departure from her tour look, styled by Daniel Goldberg (the very same stylist behind Kaia Gerber's 90s-inspired spring outfit). On stage, Rodrigo wore sparkly purple mini shorts, sheer black tights, a heart-shaped necklace, a bright red bra, and a series of white printed phrases like "Hopeful Romantic," "Flirt," "Good Girl," and "Dump Him." A ribbed tank top made the look girly. The pop star's concert persona is anxious and feminine, but her off-duty vibe is more relaxed.
