Kendall Jenner calls coquette gown a "dream dress"
There isn't a holiday that Kendall Jenner doesn't celebrate in style. For Easter, the supermodel showed off her Sunday best while looking like an Easter egg in the garden.
Jenner posted her latest outfit on Instagram, giving followers a glimpse into Kardashian and Jenner's holiday festivities. In several images, she endorsed the coquette trend with a gown embellished with ribbons.
Jenner's white dress, courtesy of Rodarte, includes a structured empire waist and two oversized black bows perched on both shoulders. The dress is available for pre-order now and is priced at $2,990.
Longtime stylist Dani Michel dressed Jenner, who is vacationing at home; the two did not need to add many accessories for this piece to shine. The hemline of the dress hit at the ankle, revealing streamlined black mules. They are from Kendall Jenner's favorite brand, The Row.
Still, it was the bouncy dress that caught all of Jenner's attention. My dream dress," the 28-year-old wrote in the caption.
Jenner let the dress make a statement, keeping her glamour simple and minimal that day. On the beauty front, she opted for a nude lip and a touch of blush, while her hair was simply worn down and parted in the middle.
Designers Kate and Laura Mullavy, who created Jenner's Rodarte dress, have consistently incorporated feminine details like rosettes, bows, and lace into their designs. From Sandy Liang to Simone Rocha, velvet bows and pearl embellishments have filled the runways over the past few years. Jenner's look is a more restrained version of this trend, relying on two oversized black ribbon color blocks that highlight a structured white dress.
From ballet-core athletic wear to the no-pants look, Jenner cannot help but sample the trend. You can channel her latest whimsical look with a similarly ribboned dress.
