During a casual outing in New York City on Easter Sunday, the This Is Me. Now star not only gave the East Coast a much-needed lesson in transitional dressing for spring, but also showed how to elevate a casual silhouette with a trusty statement accessory. JLo wore a striped beige turtleneck, grayish brown fitted blazer underneath a pair of blue wide-leg jeans.

The "On the Floor" singer bundled up in a white cashmere scarf by Brunello Cucinelli and wore nude platform pumps.

She also wore pinkish Chloe sunglasses. But the star of her look, as always, was none other than a miniature black croc-embossed Hermes Birkin. [Right next to her, Affleck looked casually cool in a light gray Nirvana graphic T-shirt layered under a multi-colored plaid flannel and a black Carthart work jacket.

Lopez's recent daytime date with Affleck arrived during spring break for her 16-year-old twins, Emme and Max. Affleck, a singer and actress, has been posting regularly about the Lopez family events of the past week, including going out for ice cream with Emme and seeing an evening performance of "Merrily We Roll Along" on Broadway.

From family trips to Tokyo to daily trips to the gym, Lopez always looks for opportunities to bring her collection of Hermes Birkin bags.
