Dakota Fanning makes an angelic return to the red carpet in Fendi white couture
Dakota Fanning is back. The actress is making a grand return in the press for the new Netflix series "Ripley," and her look revolves around a theme color palette that coordinates with the black-and-white show: deep reds, blacks, and most recently, heavenly shades of white.
Last night, Fanning appeared on the red carpet at the Los Angeles premiere of "Ripley" clad in cloud-like tulle. Her Fendi sleeveless gown flowed into diagonal layers, giving it a one-shoulder look, but was sneakily held up by a sheer mesh top.
The dress is from Fendi's Spring 2024 Couture collection, inspired by Karl Lagerfeld's progressive design spirit and full of futuristic shapes and textures.
Fanning's gown was the star of the ensemble, highlighted by simple accessories. On one finger, she wore a large pearl, the Irene Neuwirth Large Gumball Ring in 18k yellow gold. The earrings were Irene Neuwirth's Rainbow Moonstone Classic Pear Drop Earrings. Her makeup and hairstyle were classic, soft glamour with a touch of blush and a straight middle part pinned behind the ear with a gold bobby pin.
Stylist Samantha McMillen worked on both Dakota and her sister Elle Fanning. Although the sisters' styles contrast in many ways, they share a preference for basic, classic colors and monotones.
Dakota Fanning's recent looks include a long black gown by The Row, an ivory off-the-shoulder by Anna Quan, a white long-sleeved samba dress by Simkhai, a burgundy John Galliano Fall 1999 dress, and a wine-colored Altuzarra varda skirt by There are. There is definitely a noir-colored story here that is worthy of her twisted new series.
