Jennifer Lopez makes a bold change from day to night attire
Jennifer Lopez is a woman who likes to splurge, whether she's hitting the gym or attending a red carpet event. This weekend, the This Is Me.... Now star carried her vibrant energy with her as she spent quality time with her child, Emme, and emphasized it by first changing out of her modest attire.
The 54-year-old shared on Instagram her plans for Sunday at a recent carousel. In the first photo, she's in the bathroom taking a selfie in the mirror wearing a dark green workout set, a V-cut sports bra, and matching high-waisted athletic leggings with a phone case. Lopez wore her hair in a high bun and accessorized with a chunky gold ring.
After finishing her workout, J.Lo made a dramatic wardrobe change before heading to the Broadway show "Merrily We Roll Along" in New York City. The "On the Floor" singer was spotted holding her 16-year-old daughter Emme in a bright green jumpsuit. She completed the look with oversized round Chloe sunglasses and gold Jennifer Fisher hoop earrings.
The Instagram posts also show the two meeting some of the play's actors backstage. One slide shows Emme receiving a hug from Jonathan Groff, the lead actor in the play.
Lopez's costume changes did not stop there. Later that night, she apparently returned home to do some cooking. She posted a photo from the kitchen, wearing a cozy gray sweater, smiling and resting her face in her hands. A "jolly Sunday," Lopez captioned it, tagging her musical Instagram handle below it.
Lopez's most recent social media update came after taking twins Emme and Max to Tokyo for their 16th birthday in February; the "Love Don't Cost a Thing" singer documented their trip and her wardrobe on her Instagram. In one post, she wears an oversized earring gray puffer coat and a gray turtleneck sweater, also gray. What stood out about her outfit was not only the all-gray outfit, but also the unusual Hermes Birkin handbag peeking out from the corner of the mirror selfie. A rich mama indeed.
Her ninth and final studio album, This Is Me.... .Now" is about to go on tour, and there is much to be expected from a fashion standpoint in the coming months. But no matter the occasion or destination, you can always expect J.Lo to promote a flamboyant and luxurious agenda, even if it's from the comfort of his own home.
