Beyonce counts down to "Cowboy Carter" in trendy double denim

The B-Day is almost here, but her western days are just beginning.

Shifting her focus to country and just days away from the release of her new album, Cowboy Carter, on March 29, Beyoncé celebrated the new era in designer denim from head to toe. In an Instagram caption, Beyoncé declared, "Only 4 more days until COWBOY CARTER."

The pop star's promotional photo shoot highlighted a number of independent and experimental luxury brands. Beyonce wore Y/Project cutout jeans, strategically sliced to look like chaps. [She paired the pants with the Marine Serre Regenerated Denim Jacket, a cropped piece patched with different denim washes and the brand's signature half-moon logo. Also on Madonna's Jean Paul Gaultier cone bra with stitched circles on both chests. [white cowboy hat, pointed-toe denim heeled boots, aviator sunglasses, thick silver chain necklace, denim Balenciaga Hourglass Small Bag, and of course, an American matte red lip. [Beyonce is not the first star to embrace the double denim trend this year. At Paris Fashion Week, street style was filled with denim-on-denim. And in the U.S., celebrities like Sydney Sweeney are putting their own spin on the jeans-only look. Bella Hadid is also committed to the cowgirl lifestyle and recently donned her own all-denim outfit. Hadid's version featured a Y2K moto jacket silhouette, low-rise jeans, and brown heeled cowboy boots.

Beyonce wore an avant-garde tuxedo in black for her last shoot before Cowboy Carter. Instead of a bow tie, she tied a shiny black ribbon around her collar and draped a string of diamonds down the center to mimic a bolo tie. Bey had even prepared a matching ten-gallon hat for the occasion.
