From test-driving the no-pants trend to walking the red carpet in a completely transparent dress, Kendall Jenner has found the most unexpected ways to interpret her minimalist wardrobe. Her next fashion obsession is also likely to be controversial.

The 28-year-old posted an unexpected #OOTD on her recent Instagram carousel, posing in front of a jeep wearing the latest Alo Yoga workout set. Her co-ord features a high neck, razorback sports bra, and high-waisted capri bottoms.

Jenner's workout set totals less than $160, but the shoes she chose cost nearly four times that. Instead of chunky sneakers, she opted for ballet-core dressing and a sleek pair of black leather ballet flats from Aeyde.

The Kardashian star slung a black XL tote bag from The Row over her shoulder and wore black Gucci sunglasses.

Jenner is not the only one who agrees with the high-low approach to wearing athletic sets. Jennifer Lopez is a prime example, as the This Is Me.... .Now star is usually spotted going to the gym with her favorite accessory, a rare Hermes Birkin handbag that averages over $80,000.

Gigi Hadid also recently offered a fresh take on wearing leggings in business casual. Out in New York last week, the 28-year-old styled her black bottoms with a loose-fitting blazer and platform loafers.

With Jenner posting this recent look to her 294 million Instagram followers, don't be surprised if more people put their statement designer investments into their everyday workout looks. But so far, the response from her followers has been as divisive as it gets. One wrote, "Don't make this a fashion trend."
