Lorde rarely appears anywhere, not to mention Fashion Month. Amid speculation of an upcoming album on the way, it seems as if the 27-year-old is slowly dipping himself back into the public eye. On the last day of Paris Fashion Week, musicians made a surprise appearance on the Miu Miu Show dressed in the typical uniforms of the brand.

On Tuesday afternoon, outside the show in Paris, Lord was photographed wearing a black polo top and layering down a blue gingham shirt, peaking from below the collar and sleeves.

For her outerwear of choice, the soap opera singer wore a chocolate brown bomber jacket that coordinated perfectly with a pleated skirt. (Its hem was much longer than Miu Miu's polarized micro mini skirt.Lorde tied her preppy schoolgirl with scruffy grey socks and black lace-up Oxford shoes. She accessorised her academic outfit with beaded seashell earrings and black sunglasses.

The performer specifically swapped her platinum blonde hair for a fresh brunette look and braided it into 2 pigtails.

Lord's appearance on the Miu Miu Show was a bit of a surprise given that her last Fashion Week sighting was 2022/9. While attending Prada's Spring/summer 2023 presentation in Milan, the singer arrived at the venue wearing the brand's shimmering gold maxi gown with a grey coat, yellow handbag and platform black heels.

While it is virtually expected that Lorde will go to MIA any time (she prefers to fly under the radar), the New Zealand musician recently made some surprise red carpet appearances. On May 12, she wore a stunning emerald green two-piece look from Acne Studios to attend the 2023 GQ Men of the Year ceremony in Los Angeles. The satin outfit featured a crop top with a bare center and a flowing asymmetrical midi skirt. She completed the look with matching green strappy sandals.

While Lorde's next outfit may remain a mystery for some time, her upcoming music will not follow it. A few months ago, Lorde teased her fourth album with an unusual Instagram update, posting a carousel of herself with headphones on her feed. "I'm listening to myself," the singer captioned.

She also responded to enthusiastic fans about the status of her album in the comments, writing, "We're not closing you guys...I start your excitement with a low flame and bring it up to a gentle simmer.We will build stamina for this chapter."
