Sydney Sweeney is back on the New York street-style radar ahead of the release of her upcoming film Immaculate. 3/12 Before the movie premiered at SXSW, the actress was spotted in Manhattan and kicked it off with the controversial 2024 spring shoe trend.

On Thursday, 3/7, Sweeney was photographed leaving his hotel in the Gramercy Park area of Manatan with his fiancee Jonathan Davino. Madame Webster, 26, wore sky-high white leggings-style heels from Victoria Beckham's Pre-Fall 2024 collection. 

The actress wore a bold silhouette in a black maxi dress with a cutout on her chest. She also wore a long black coat and a coordinating black leather shoulder bag tucked under her arms. Sweeney completed the daytime look with a sleek pair of black sunglasses and gold square earrings, chosen by stylist Molly Dixon.

This is not Sweeney's first foray into the peep world. The 26-year-old attended a new product launch event with Laneige on 2/26. The global ambassador wore a purple Tom Ford Maxi dress with matching Alaia corset belt and the exact same Victoria Beckham shoes.

Sweeney's peep moment follows a series of a-listers who put their best foot forward even in the controversial shoe trend. Thong-style stiletto boots have made the runway look for fashion houses like Miu Miu and Versace, so they have received a variety of reactions in Streetstaing online by combining foot-hugging leather with toe-open leather.

Victoria Beckham is not only the brain behind Sweeney's shoes, but also the designer himself. Sweeney's street sighting follows news that one of her upcoming projects, Americana, has won a global distribution contract from Lionsgate.

It was known as National Anthem two years ago because she wrapped up her role in a Tony Tost movie directed by Penny Joe Poplin, a South Dakota waitress set in the modern West Americana, Halsey, Paul Walter Hauser, Eric Dane, Simon Cowell and more.
