Season 2 saw a lifelong friendship tested and a competition (i.e.) between Bravo Authenticity and gamers . Survivors, Big Brother, and Challenge Alum) forms, and persistent memes, were born. Now that everything has been revealed, the question in the minds of all fans is when the round table opens again. Read everything we know about The Traitors Season 3 so far.
Yes. Host Alan Cumming announced the happy news at the end of Season 2, and on May 8, Peacock's reality hit assured viewers that "another season of famous faces, whispering secrets, and heart-stopping betrayals is on the horizon."Add to another rotation of great ensembles for the brave host.
Season 3 of The Traitors is currently in pre-production as of early May 3, and the first 2 seasons of the show premiered in 2023 and 2024, respectively, so the new episode is expected to arrive at Peacock in 2025/1. Until then, host your own murder mystery party, book a quick holiday in Scotland, or check out some shows that resemble traitors.
Season 2 is just over, so there's no casting news yet other than fan predictions. (I'll add just one suggestion: footballer and bottoms actor Marshawn Lynch, please. In an interview with Variety on March 3-4, executive producer Mike Cotton hinted that "some" reality stars are already reaching out about the possibility of appearing in Season 3. He also added that the chemistry of the cast is "really important" for Season 3. "I liked the fact that [the cast of Season 2] came from different walks of life, so I'd like to do the same this time. We are getting some people to approach us, but we want to think outside the box. The good thing about traitors is that they think we surprise people with a slightly different casting. I think no one expected John Bercow of England to be Season 2, but in fact he added his own to it. I think we have to do the same in season 3.
However, the series may not rely on the casting surprises used in Season 2, when Kate Chastain under the Deck Star with Season 1 contestant returned for the second round. When asked if another former contestant could return to Season 3, he said to the outlet, "There is a chance." I would also say I think I did it with Kate. We brought Kate back, let's try something new. I want to surprise people in a different way with some sort of different casting twist."
