Sydney Sweeney's white SXSW gown is bridal fantasy.

No, Sydney Sweeney is not married soon (what fans know). But she wore a dress similar to a vintage bridal gown to the premiere of her upcoming horror movie, immaculate, at SXSW yesterday.

At Sunday's Oscars, Sweeney's stylist Molly Dickinson played the actress in an old Hollywood Marilyn Monroe・inspired get・up, an archive Marc Boucher gown originally worn by Angelina Jolie at the 2004 Academy Awards. It was a great experience. A few days later, Dickinson maintained a throwback theme and Monroe inspiration in Sweeney's white Richard Quinn dress.

Sweeney's strapless, white lace dress reminiscent of a wedding, topped with silky off-the-shoulder sleeves and thigh-high slits she paired the gown with white pointed toe pumps and sheer lace thigh-high stockings layered over top. It was a great experience.

Dickinson completed the look with EFFY, Nouvel Heritagex, and Jennifer Meyer's Octavia Elizabeth pearl dangle earrings and rings. Earlier that night, she wore a Sweeney in a black Delcore off-the-shoulder, quarter-sleeve zip-up dress.

These looks marked Sweeney's departure from rom-com press tour outfits and in itself her departure from her younger, girlier Euphoria-era style

"This was the first fitting she has been fashioning, rising way more," Dixon told Vogue late last year. He told Vogue. "I feel like this was more mature than she did before," she said. She always makes us go more fun and bold, like a euphoria, whatever the role or movie is. For this, it's rom-com, so she really wanted it to be more romantic and pretty."

If someone other than you was all about maturity and romance, what's immaculate might be about experimentation and intrigue.
