Amy Cortés and Johnny McIntyre were the first couple to engage in Love Is Blind pod this season, and their commitment remains so obviously unwavering that it actually caused some drama between another couple, regardless of Johnny's confusion over various forms of contraception. It was the first time Jimmy took the issue of Chelsea, when Jimmy took the (objectively true) declaration that Amy and Johnny were the strongest couple of seasons.

Amy and Johnny are 1 of the most modest people, couples without drama coming out of love are blind. Their love story, of course, began in the pod, they again and again that they are on the "exact same page" about so many aspects of their life

Soon, they were the first duo to get engaged and from there, they went out to race. They met each other's families — to great success - had romantic dance lessons, and spent practically every second of their camera time gushing about their fairy-tale relationship with each other.

The only obstacle they faced throughout the season was the ongoing debate about contraception, but it was never actually resolved on camera. To Johnny's apparent shock, Amy did not have contraception. They discussed the prospect of getting Johnny's vasectomy, but he shunned away from that idea after doing some "research" on the procedure and Amy led to share that she was considering getting on contraception, especially after her doctors had suggested that it could help with her anemia. It was. 

For some reason, condoms were not mentioned on screen, despite being a fully effective method of contraception, but the efficacy rate when used correctly is 98%.Johnny recently told people that he and Amy had "definitely" discussed condoms as an option, but "I don't know why they didn't show up here." ...But, nevertheless, it was a very funny thing to look at it and [have people] like, "Wow, did he really pass a high school health class?"

Yes. They were actually the only duo to tie the knot this season. Their love was seemingly certain, so Johnny didn't even give the usual heartfelt speech expected of the LiB contestants before saying, "I will.". Instead, after Amy poured her heart out, which ended in tears, "I'm excited about the next thing," he simply replied, "I can't wait.""And that was it.

As befits the couple, their wedding included a toast to the newly united McIntyre-Cortez family.

As was expected in the season's "Strongest Couple" and its only success story, Amy and Johnny still seemed to be happily in love throughout the season's reunion episode. During bouts of unpacking the drama of the other couple, Amy and Johnny provided a palate cleanser in the form of a very sweet montage of photos and videos from their first year of marriage, as well as an update on how close their tight knit family has gotten.

They also shared their favorite things about each other: the fact that Amy doesn't "jump to assuming a gun" and the fact that Johnny is "so gentle, caring and loving".They also claimed that they have not yet had their first big punk fight. "We just talk.Amy said.

And, of course, they had to deal with the elephant in the room: Johnny knew nothing about contraception before the conversation with Amy, and they also confirmed that they settled on the contraceptive method that works for them: "We figured it out, and that's what we did." "It's all that matters," Amy said, somewhat shy, and just before the reunion episode aired, she shared a paid partnership post on instagram on Natural Cycles, an app-based contraceptive option.
