Bella Hadid continues a cowgirl vibe in a Canadian tuxedo.
Despite Bella Hadid pivoting from a Lower East Side It Girl to a Texas cowgirl, her personal star supermodel yesterday took a Western-style stroll through Los Angeles in head-to-toe denim and brown heeled cowboy boots. We continued our winning streak.
The Canadian tuxedo was still undeniably Bella. She added her own flair with a Y2K Moto jacket silhouette and low-rise jeans. For accessories, she threw a Givenchy bag over her shoulder and tied the look together with her small rectangular sunglasses, a thick brown leather belt, and a stack of chunky mismatched rings.
The model walked on a red leash all "Hadid's dog Grizzy's most important costume companion."
Hadid is not the only one in contact with their inner Rodeo Queen through a double denim outfit. At Paris Fashion Week, the street style was full of denim-on-denim outfits. Back in New York City, other celebrities like Sydney Sweeney tried their own interpretation of the jeans-only look.
This outfit is the latest in Hadid's Western-inspired looks. She has made a serious effort to celebrate the culture with her new boyfriend, professional cowboy Adan Banuelos, chic ten gallon hats, turquoise jewelry, prairie dresses, fringe and even leather chaps. Earlier this week, she wore flared dark wash jeans and square-to-heel leather boots. She supported Vanuelos at a recent rodeo tournament in Arlington, Texas, and cheered him off the stand at Full Cowgirl Regalia.
The model is also no stranger to horses — after all, she grew up as an equestrian. And Hadid has been revisiting her sport at a ranch in Weatherford, Texas, competing in equestrian competitions with her horse, Metallic Tito. It was rumored this week that Hadid recently moved to Texas from New York City to be close to her new boyfriend, but yesterday's la dog-walk might suggest otherwise.
Hadid's country squeal has come at a good time. Beyonce is firmly in the Texas era, wearing a cowboy hat, to release a new country album "Cowboy Carter" on 3/29. Lana del Rey is also adopting this genre with new music later this year. Meanwhile, Farrell's latest Louis Vuitton menswear runway fully embraced Americana aesthetics. It remains unclear whether Hadid will soon return to the runway, or whether the horse girl's lifestyle will keep her on the ranch.
