Zendaya will debut her "challenger" era in a tennis-core hoodie and miniskirt.
If there is one thing about Zendaya, she is committed to theme dressing. The actress recently hopped off the high fashion Tour de Force with her futuristic cyborg-inspired looks while promoting Dune: Part two. Now, with her upcoming project challenger debuting soon, she's hitting the tennis courts ahead of the official press circuit — and the hoodie zendaya wore and Prie
3/17 (Sun), Zendaya will be competing at the 2024 BNP Paribas Open in Indian Wells, California. She attended the women's final. The actress brought her longtime lover, Tom Holland, in an unusual public place (they were last seen together at the London premiere of Dune back on 2 May).
The 27-year-old used the courtside as her unofficial challenger's red carpet. Commissioned by her longtime stylist Law Roach, Euphoria Star observed the competition in the sporty cream co-ord by Louis Vuitton.
The afternoon Zendaya outfit featured a zip-up sweatshirt embroidered with the "LV" logo on the front. She compared the look further by overlaying the ribbed tank trimmed underneath. The actress also wore white low-top sneakers with a matching pleated skirt of the brand.
While Zendaya was sitting in the stands, Spider-Man actor Tom Holland was beside her, wearing a cream T-shirt, burgundy knit cardigan and a red colored frame. The two were also caught on camera singing to the late Whitney Houston's "I Wanna Dance With Somebody."
After the match, Zendeja met Igasvistek of Poland, who defeated Maria Sakkari of Greece 6-4 in the women's final. In doing so, Šwištek secured her second BNP Paribas Open title in three years.
"What has happened?""I'm not going to let you down," Schweistek wrote in her Instagram story with the star of the Dune. "Thanks Zendaya for being kind, funny and caring.
A recent sighting of Zendaya continues at the end of the Dunes: Part 2 Press Tour, the actress was still wearing some of her best red carpet looks.
With Roach as her stylist, Z focused on futuristic aesthetics, sporting everything from vintage Muggler Cyborg suits to Alexander McQueen's couture Givenchy sets.
Zendaya's latest look shows the inevitable return of tennis fashion trends, as well as a more subdued, preppy era for the stars. Her understated look pays homage to the quiet, high-end schoolgirl-esque looks that dominated several runways (such as Miu Miu and Sandy Liang) for the spring/summer of 2024.
As Zendaya is gearing up for the release of the film "Challengers," which is due to be released on the 26th, it is very likely that she will continue to deliver major fashion moments inspired by tennis in the coming weeks.
